Dr. Pamela C Craven, MD

Dr Craven is a gem! We had a hard time finding a heart doctor after our previous and long-time cardiologist retired. I found her simply by looking thru the specialties of doctors at The Heart Hospital - where we wanted to be. We have been with her about 2 years and that includes one brief hospital stay. She is attentive, never rushes a visit, and has taken the time to get to know my Dad well beyond his heart concerns - they share a love of fly fishing. She has also completely revamped his medications for the better. Can’t say enough about her!

Useless

Dr. Craven was unprepared with test results to discuss, sarcastic, and did not seem to value my worries or intelligence. She became angry when I asked about my test results and wanted to know the numbers. I left her office upset and looking for a new doctor.

Her care for my mother has been outstanding. Her staff is prompt, helpful, and available.

A very caring Doctor

I've had a problem with my heart for years and had seen several different cardiologists. No doctor seemed to take it very seriously until I saw Dr. Craven. She has been very aggressively trying to get an accurate diagnosis. I am allergic to statins, so my cholesterol was left unconrolled for years in the 250+ range. No cardiologist tried to find an alternative to statins. With Dr. Craven, my cholesterol is now normal for the first time since I first had it tested 30 years ago. She is diligent and does something few doctors do: She listens. She is such a fine doctor, that my husband is now going to her, too. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a really conscientious and thorough cardiologist. Love her staff, too. Well organized office. Very pleased with my care.
