Dr. Pamela M Donlan, MD

Breast Care Specialists is a busy place and I was able to see Dr. Donlan at the last minute. It was really busy when I saw Dr. Donlan, but she took enough time to explain to me what the problem was and what I should have done. I was nervous about my condition and wrote down a list of questions before I came in. Her answers were informative and clear. Because of insurance, I did get a second opinion before surgery and didn't tell the other doctor what Dr. Donlan had told me. Based on the tests, he did immediately come to the same conclusion, but was not near as thorough in explaining and was totally impatient.

Dr. Donlan is very rude! If I ever have to have a procedure done at Breast Care Specialist that involves her, I will leave and find another practice. She was rude to me and the staff. When I said something, the staff replied, that is just how she is. Dr. Donlan is not a true representation of what my experience has been like at Atlanta Breast Care Specialist -- however, if I have to ever see her again, I will find another practice. She is horrible --- not sure why they keep her in the practice.

Dr. Donlan may be in the group that is considered among the best in Atl for Breast Care; but don't see her! She was completely indifferent for my over all well being and was incredibly condescending. She treated me as if I was wasting her time despite the fact I have symptoms indicating possible cancer. I will never see her again. The practice has a strong reputation. She most certainly does NOT live up to the reputation of the others in the practice. Also, website makes it sound like you will have some direction the day of your visit. Sounds very compassionate. Not so if you start at the Alpharetta office. Dr. Donlan said, "I don't know what to tell you." She was indifferent I was in pain still and symptoms indicating something is not right somewhere if not breast cancer. Very rude! She has forgotten her patients pay her salary and reflects badly on her co-owners of the practice. She is not a Breast Care Specialist. She is a cancer Dr. If it is not cancer... she has no interest in… assisting you to get to the root of the problem. Very unfortunate and terrible experience in a already very alarming, stressful time. I have ZERO confidence or trust in her. Absolutely would NOT put my life in her hands.

Dr. Donolan was cold, heartless, and blunt when she did my breast biopsy. Obviously she has never had a serious health problem. When I asked questions, she said"It is what it is", and left the room. She should watch the film "the Surgeon".
