Dr. Merino, and her staff, are professional, efficient and compassionate. Dr. Merino is comprehensive in her scope of knowledge and is competent in diagnosing/ treating many health related issues. I recommend her, without reservation, as a Primary Care Dr.

Dr. Merino is an amazing physician. She cares for her patients and takes the time to make sure your physical and mental health are taken care off. Her staff is extremely polite and helpful. I would not change this office for anything and definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

My review is a bit out of date, but as I read some of these other reviews, I saw a pattern emerge. I saw her back at the end of 2007. Had 1 visit to get a tetanus shot. I got the shot, was told to come back in 2 weeks, and was charged $330 for her cursory review. Was told to come back in 2 weeks for a full "check-up". Showed up 2 weeks later for my "check up". Obnoxious woman at the front desk told me that they did not take my insurance, "though they had applied for it". I asked her what the point was of me faxing a copy of my insurance card to her after my last visit, and nobody responded to me that they did not take my insurance. She said she had "forwarded it my bill to their billing department, who would then forward it to my insurer", I guess because it was out of network. I then asked her if the $330 I was charged covered only the 10 minutes I had spent with Dr. Merino for my first visit. No response. So I said I would pass on the "check-up". They never submitted my… information to my insurer, and I spent multiple hours arguing with my insurer and with American Express, with whom I had charged my first "copay". Never got any money back. Have no idea if this woman is a good doctor or not, but her office was horrible to deal with, and her ethics seem to be highly questionable.

The most caring, knowledgeable doctor I have been to in years. I highly recommend her.

I have been a patient of Doctor Merino's for 3 years now, and she has always treated me kindly and with importance. Her staff is good; they are efficient and kind and always offer me a smile. Dr. Merino is very medically informed and she answers any questions that I might have. She is great overall and you should definitely consider seeing her.
