Dr. Pamela Ann Moore, MD

I have not seen this, "Dr" in MANY years. I have finally built up enough confidence in myself (that I lost after seeing her) to speak my truth. I went to her after I went through an awful break-up. I couldn't stop crying and my life was starting to become more difficult. I just wanted to be able to go to work and get by each day as I healed. She gave me Zyprexa, a medication for Schizophrenia and Bi-Polar, which I am neither. Over the course of almost 2 months I gained over 50 pounds, because of this medication. I went back to her and asked why? She said," it's the medication". I was so hurt, confused and betrayed. If she had just told me this would happen, I would have asked for something else. She thought I was Bi-polar. Now keep in mind, she is not a Psychiatrist, she had no right to prescribe this medication to me with out further evaluation. She gave it to me like it was aspirin. I said, "not only am I depressed, but now I'm fat". Her response, "get the South Beach Diet book".… Needless to say I left in tears. A few years later after struggling with my weight, and new health issues from my weight, I stumbled upon an article, "Bitter Pill". Wouldn't you know it was about Zyprexa. Lilly Pharmaceuticals was sued for $16 billion dollars because they kept a secret about this medication on weight gain. My heart sank. Not only did she give me this medication, she knew. She knew and did not say anything. My overall health since that day has declined and I have gained more weight because of what Zyprexa does to your metabolism. I have suffered insecurities, anxiety, depression and my confidence dropped drastically. I see her in the mirror every morning and still after over 15 years I am still haunted by her care. I have steered many people away from her, people who would ask me about this doctor. Mostly cause I work in the medical field, and patients ask my opinion about good medical doctors. I am still overweight and struggle everyday. I only have this, "Dr." to thank. Thank you for altering my life so horrifically. I only hope no one gets treated the same way I did. Tracy Bergeron

Did not pick up the ball to diagnosis my symptoms nor order the blood work to find out

Dr. Moore is the best. She's helped me with quite a few complicated situations and is always willing to follow up. She knows a great deal about many things and does her research. She has a lot of experience and is always thorough. Really a good doctor.

She's very competent and caring, and she listens.
