Dr. Pamela Kim Phillips, MD

I've has a long history of skin cancer and had a number of dermatological procedures over the years. Dr. Phillips was outstanding! Her knowledge of skin cancer, with all the available treatment options, was remarkable. I had to endure a number of LASER and MOHS procedures in her office. She was incredibly empathetic and had a wonderful staff to help me through the process. She also does incredible wound repair, better than the plastic surgeons that I have experienced. I would highly recommend her. My only regret is leaving Wisconsin and not being able to go back to see her.

Dr Phillips barely glanced at my raised, dark, growing, dry, itchy spot on my hand, said "its just a keratosis" in a dismissive voice, handed me a pamplet. I asked if it could be removed because it irritates me, she said yes, now? I asked how much. She said "don't you have insurance?" I said yes, she said "I don't know, between $40 & 200, I'll have someone get back to you on it." I know she is a Dr and may not know that, but no one got back to me. I paid $40 co-pay, my insurance paid $51 and I am being billed $195 for the rest. I'm glad it isn't cancer or anything, but jeeze, almost $286 for less than 2 minutes and being made to feel like I wasted her time?
