Dr. Pamela Rapiti, MD

Dr. Pamela Rapiti is a neurologist with over three decades of experience treating conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, and nervous system. She earned her medical degree from King Edward Memorial Hospital and completed her internship at the same institution in 1994. Dr. Rapiti furthered her training with a residency at Nelson R Mandela School of Medicine in 1999, followed by a fellowship there in 2006. She provides care in English for her patients.

Based in New Orleans, Louisiana, Dr. Rapiti focuses on helping patients with neurological challenges including epilepsy, muscle weakness, and problems with trunk control that can affect balance and movement. She performs specialized diagnostic tests such as electroencephalograms to monitor brain activity and electromyogram studies to assess nerve and muscle function. Dr. Rapiti also coordinates physical therapy treatments to help patients regain strength and mobility.
