Dr. Pamela Prior Reed, MD

My physician had recommended me to have a colonoscopy and referred me to Dr. Reed. I looked at her reviews and had some reservations and anxiety after reading the comments, but decided to go ahead and make an appointment since my doctor referred me to her. I am so glad I did. From my virtual appointment with Penny, to my conversation with Rachel at the office to the day of the colonoscopy, all the nurses and doctors were wonderful. Dr. Reed made me feel at ease with her humor, and her gentle and kind bedside manner. She also discussed my report with me thoroughly with myself and my husband after I awoke from the anesthesia. I will continue to see Dr. Reed and I will recommend her to anyone.

Went in for an endoscopy and she had told me if she didn’t find anything that she was releasing me.. proceeded to get put under and she said well let’s see what’s making you die!!! I told her that wasn’t funny at all that I had have 3 near death experiences in last 3 years because I was so sick! The anesthesiologists told me she was starting the meds and was gonna take care of me as I continued to cry being put under! Woke up still upset, can’t believe people that are supposed to be healers and treat sick people like that! She has no business being a Dr! I will spread my experience with her!

Dr. Reed and her staff were wonderful. They all were very kind and made me feel well taken care of for my colonoscopy. Totally recommend!!

Would not use this physician again for a procedure. she recommended a very expensive prep for the procedure that she provided a coupon for. However the cost with the coupon was still multiple times more expensive than traditional prep. Additionally, this prep caused a number of unwanted and continuing side effects even after the procedure. When we discussed our concerns with the prep solution, Dr. Reed replied, "I can't please everybody."

Dr. Reed's nurse assistant was rude and uncaring. She was not able to spell my internist's name and became annoyed when I repeated the spelling until she got it right. As for Dr.Reed, the only thing I saw of her was her nostrils as I was wheeled in for an endoscopy and a colonoscopy. She said she would speak to us when it was over but we never saw or heard from her again that day. Some time later we got an abbreviated report from her in the mail. I did not feel cared for. Would not see or recommend this office.

Dr. Reed was totally awesome!! All went well with the procedure. Thanks to her and her awesome staff along with those at Baptist Health Paducah!!

Only got to see her nurse prac. until after my procedure. This was frustrating as I had questions I wanted to ask the Doctor. After my procedure she acted very irritated with both my husband and I. No bedside manner. When placed on high anibiotics she would not even prescribe something for the yeast infection I got from the anibiotics. My family Doc was out of town and I was in terrible shape after being hospitalized with an acute Diverticulitis attack which would be under her care. I would not send my family or friends to her. I have since changed doctors and much happier.

unknowegable in field. will dump you on vanderbuilt. hasn't she been to med school. she won't see you only scopes. you have to see her gum popping nurse pract.

Did not see dr until procedure time. I had multiple questions. She acted very irritated with me. She did not want to repeat anything. I will not go back to her or refer anyone to her
