Dr. Pamela Ro

Surgery for my child Dr Ro told us she could had experience with the surgery my child needed but failed to tell us that it was years since she had actually performed the surgery and had never done so unassisted. We will not be coming back to this practice.

Botched up my sons surgery. Complained to UNC but no action was taken. We heard from a nurse on the recovery unit that this was a common occurrence and they would never refer someone to her

I'm terribly worried for my son's health and education he told me he has never been to school after that i was never able to get ahold of him are his grandmother again jayce halleran I remember you were his doctor I came to the surgery and follow up appointment I'm just worried something has happened

We love Dr. Ro! Kind and VERY thorough at every visit. Takes time to make sure all of your questions are answered. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients. Highly recommend.

Dr. Ro was our daughters 1st Cardiologist at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. It was a scary time for us and our daughter and Dr. Ro was compassionate and understanding of this. She informed us of all the choices we had, giving an explanation of what she would do if it was her child, but was clear to let us know that what one family may decide isn't always what another will. We chose not to put in a ICD, that was at age 8 and she is doing great on medication only. It has now become more of the standard NOT to jump immediately into implanting an ICD with our daughter's condition. Dr. Ro played a large role in this. We were sad when she left but thankful to have had her for the first 4 years of our daughters care.

We are extremely pleased with Dr. Ro. She is very pleasant, caring and thorough. She explained our son's EKG and Echo Cardiogram in terms we could understand and provided clear feedback on next steps. We highly recommend her!

Dr Ro was one of the most arrogant physicians we have met. She was 45 minutes late and put my son's complaints down to "anxiety". We saw a speacialst at Duke and he was able to accurately diagnose and treat our son.

Dr Ro has treated our son since he was born. As first time parents, we were nervous and anxious about having to see a cardiologist. Dr Ro has been wonderful. She is sharp and has always answered our questions. She explained things in a very straightforward way and helped us understand what was going on. When I had a question between appointments, she was quick to respond. The nurses, technicians and other staff are also all very kind and thoughtful. Thank you to Dr Ro and the staff for everything!

Dr. Pamela and her staff where amazing. They went way above what was expected. Came in to get my sons heart checked and they where all so helpful with any questions we had. Truly thankful we went here. Thanks UNC Health Care, Cary
