Dr. Pamela Jean Sanders

My mother is a senior citizen who took my niece to see Dr. Sanders and expressed to me that she was upset by the visit. Dr. Sanders overstepped her bounds as a physician prying into matters that had nothing to do with medical but had to do with social issues at school. My parents as elders raising my niece are instilling sound values in my niece. But in front of the child, Dr. Sanders blatantly challenged those values going back and forth with my mother while insisting to child that her (Dr. Sander's) view is correct. My mother said she couldn't express herself because the doctor kept talking over her and wouldn't let her completely explain her thoughts. Toward the end of the visit, my mother also asked the doctor to consider a different prescription due to concerns of a side effect but the doctor ignored her request and did not further discuss. I do not appreciate when my mother in her older age is being so disrespected during a doctor's visit doing her best raising her granddaughter… with my father.

Our experience with her was very positive. She spend an adequate time with us. She explained very well the diagnosis and took the time too listen to our concerns and to answer our questions. She was a little in a rush to get to the next patient, but this seems to be with everyone these days. The lab results have been ready very fast and her office followed up with us. In general we were very pleased with her and recommend her. We went there with our 18 month old.

This doctor seemed to be highly recommended with awards etc., but she has very poor communication skills and lacks emphathy. She rants on about her diagnosis without asking any clarifying questions and is quite quick to pass wrong judgements and make inaccurate assessments. Would not recommend her!! Stay Away!!!
