Dr. Pamela Jill Svendsen, MD

As a healthcare professional who went to her for several years, I fired her after multiple incidents of questionable competence, her lack of empathy and more interest is selling me supplements that getting to the root cause of my problems, I could go on, but I'll spare you - long story short, 2 other providers could not believe the level of incompetence of her and her staff - I ended up requiring specialist for both situations & surgery for one of the two situations after she ignored me for 2 years as a healthcare colleague - I refuse to recommend her to anyone. I would give ZERO stars if it was an option!

I have been seeing her for a couple of years, since 2012, however I'm always thinking to my self I never leave her with a good answer. I want say don't go see Dr Svedsen, because she might be a fit for you! As of last week I started thinking I not happy with her and really I have never been happy I always felt like she wasn't interested in me, my husband would say she's a doctor of course she cares but I knew how I felt. I think her manners are a little less then I'm use to, so I've decided to find a new doctor.

She is caring, professional and doesn't order a lot of unnecessary tests. Has been a doctor for routine exams and also available when more urgent care is needed.

Attentive for a few minutes. But she seems to have predetermined 10 minute time limit after which she gets up and starts wrapping it up, no matter what I have to say. Always seems to have better things to do.

Dr. Svenson can be very hateful, I though she just treated me that way, I was surprised to read all the negative reviews about her. I always wondered what I had done for her to be so mean to me. But now that I have read some of the reviews I know she treats many people terrible.

She's terrible!!! Extremely rude and zero bedside manners. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this doctor!!

Two phone messages were not returned. An email I sent inquiring about the hormone treatment the website boasts of, was not answered and the fax I sent over (and got confirmation on) outlining my specific needs and asking her to call me, that I would like to be a patient even if out of pocket because Tricare doesnt normally cover bio identical hormones.. was completely ignored. When I called the office, I was basically told that i had made an appt a year ago and cancelled it (yeah, due to the reviews) and that the Dr really didnt want to see me. UNBELIEVABLE. Really? Thanks doc.. you made my choice easy. I went elsewhere and I hope you close your doors soon and go home. Thats not how you conduct business.

That this person is still practicing. Wholly unprofessional (to the extent that I filed a formal complaint with the AMA) , rude, and frighteningly incompetent. This woman allowed personal friends into the treatment room while I was half dressed getting a bone scan. She openly discussed other patients' "situations" with other staff in my company, pushed personal for profit vitamins and aesthetic products, disregarded my health concerns and spoke in a condescending and inappropriate manner regularly. Hopefully she will soon close her doors for good. This woman has no business practicing medicine.

First visit with her today and don't understand any of the negative reviews. Very friendly, knowledgeable, caring,. She did a full history and gave great reccomendations. Her staff was great and professional. My wife will be going to her as well. We are new to the area and asked many people about doctors and the ones that were considered great .......by reviews......did not have the courtesy to ever call back. I truly believe she will be the perfect doctor for me and my wife.

I was a mess when I first went to Dr. Svendson almost 4 years ago. I came into the appointment crying and in a major panic attack. I didn't know that I was suffering from high blood pressure, menopause and severe anemia. She put me on the right track and I've never felt better. I had my regular checkup today and I am Good! Blood pressure perfect, anemia gone, menopause almost done and I'm a much happier and confident business woman. I've always hated pap smears and would go 6-10 years between visits with my previous male dr but Dr. Pam made me feel at ease and I won't fear the necessary paps again. My husband now is a patient and so is a friend of mine. We are all very happy with the doctor, her staff and the ease of getting appointments. Thank you Dr. Svendson!!!
