She was thorough, explained what she noticed without making my daughter feel weird. She put us as ease instantly and kept it that way throughout the visit.

Both the PA & Dr. Trapane were very considerate, friendly, and took the time to explain everything with ease and clearness. They took the time to know personal information about my daughter that very few people have ever done

The packet she gave us had the same information in different types formats ranging from superficial for the big picture, to in depth from medical books, plus ways support to get peer support. I wish ALL providers did this!She took the time establish a patient-provider relationship. THAT IS A BIG DEAL to me, ESPECIALLY when it involves my children. I want to know how and why the provider comes to their conclusions because I am trusting my children's lives with a provider, even for just a diagnosis. While I was nervous about the potential of my son's diagnosis, she took the time to answer the hard questions in a caring and direct manner, which I THOROUGHLY appreciated. She also gave examples of what a negative control should look like, which helped me learn what normal should be, as the symptom was my family's "normal" and I did not know better. I will now be getting my other children and myself in for an evaluation as well!If anything comes back where ongoing treatment is needed, I… feel like she is a provider that has a team approach with the parents. I have fired providers with a quickness if at any point they do not have this approach about medical care, ESPECIALLY when it comes to my children.A provider's job is to: help find the issue, offer all possible treatment plans and which they think is best, educate as to why to all of the above, and to trust a parent has their child's best interest at heart with their choices. She did this in spades!
