The Doc didn't even see me. The nurse recommended for biopsy for birthmark scar. Please avoid the doc.

Dr Vasiloudes actually saved my life by noticing a spot on my temple during a conversation with him. At the time he was not my dermatologist, so I had it Biopsied by my dermatologist and sure enough it was melanoma. Right then I switched everything over to him and I drive 48 mikes one way to see him.

DOCTOR WAS RUDE, I HAVE A HARD TIME TO UNDERSTAND HIM (STRONG ACCENT) AND VERY HYSTERICAL ATTITUDE WITH INFANTS THE STAFF WAS VERY NICE, FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL

I had a rather strange mark on my abdominal area that had changed so I went to Dr. V to get it looked at. Me immediately said it needs to come off. So it was removed and byopsied. It came back as Melinoma. He personally called me on the phone and left me a message imploring me to come back to have the margins widened ( Take more tissues). I was in denial at this point and if he had not personally called I may not have come back into the office. If you know anything about Melinoma if it comes back at the the same site it's usually deadly. Thank god for Dr.V!! He is a great Dr.! Who spends the time and correctly diagnoses possible problems.

I was referred to this doctor, and now I'm in collection because they sent a specimen to the wrong lab. I was told that the office will correct the billing error, but still receive threatening letters from Lab Quest. However, I can't say much about the doctor since I never was treated by him. The waiting time was average, officer easy to locate, overall not a bad visit. Management needs improvement.

I was very fortunate to get an appointment in lest than two weeks at the Brandon/Valrico Office. Both my husband and I saw Dr. Vasiloudes for our first comprehensive cancer screening. I say it was our first, since in our last few years we have seen 2 other Dr. in the Brandon/Valrico area and they were not as comprehensive as this one was. We were first seen by a PS in training, which initially scared me becuase I wanted to see the Dr. But the PA just did the initial note taking like an RN would. I can not tell you how impressed we were that we were not rushed through our exam. He asked SEVERAL times if we had any other areas of concern and we did thing of other things to bring up. Since we live in FL and are in our 50's - a quicky cancer screening is not what we were looking for. I was also happy that we did not have to make a second appointment to take care of our issues. He went right ahead and took care of them on the spot.It was also a relief that his nurse Annie was very… experienced and had a tender touch as she prepped us. Both Annie and Dr. Vasiloudes have excellent bedside manner and great patient communication. I know we will stay with this practice and I will be telling my friends about it as well.

My daughter, who was 3 months at the time, was recommended to Dr Vasiloudes by our peditrician for a large hemangioma(strawberry mark) on her shoulder. After numerous visits and discussions about possible treatments; trying to avoid serious/higher risk procedures, were assured by Dr Vasiloudes that we "had to move forward" and begin medicinal treatment of the hemangioma with a beta blocker and an oral steroid. He scared us into believing that if we didn't use this form of treatment we would be putting our daughter at risk for very serious complications. He also assured us that this was safe and he had great success using these medications to treat her condition. Dr Vasioudes used high pressure tactics to convince us that this was the best option. We agreed, got the medications and began administering them . The next day, my daughter did not eat very well and by the late afternoon was actng strange. Then, suddenly, she went limp in my arms and had two seizure like episodes. Her… eyes rolled back in her head and she convulsed-The ten scariest minutes of my life. I quickly went online, remembering reading something about blood sugar issues with the medication, and gave her sugar water. The sugar water helped and she regained consciousness but was a bit groggy. THe ambulance came, she was admitted into the hospital over night, and had a battery of tests. They checked for brain masses, neurological issues associated with epilepsy, and a variety of other possible causes. After all the tests were completed, the hospital pedicatrician and pediatric neurologist agreed that they thought the episode was the result of the drugs prescribed by Dr Vasiloudes. They believed the doses to be much too high and that the doses should have definitely been broken up through out the day to avoid sharp drops in blood sugar. The pediatric neurologist said he used the beta blocker drug often to treat migraines and he used almost the same dosage on a 5-7 year old, depending on their weight!! Clearly, Dr Vasiloudes acted recklessly and put our infant daughter in grave danger. His arrogance, dishonesty, and carelessness caused our daughter harm. After meeting with experts in the field (real experts), we have learned that the treatment was totally unnecessary. Dr Vasiloudes wanted to use this form of treatment because it is groundbreaking and he wants to become the expert on this treatment in the Tampa Bay area. He used our daughter as a guinea pig, don't let your child or yourself be used by this unscrupulous "Dr", if you can call him that.

I made an appointment to see Dr. Vasiloudes at 9:30 AM for my 4 month old daughter who has eczema, waited for over 40 minutes and still could not see him! There was at least one person ahead of me (an older gentleman) who had had the same wait time. They kept telling him you are next and then they asked me to wait another 5 min. Waited another 5 min and then had them cancel and credit the copay.Chaotic office, do not visit

Dr Vasiloudes is probably the best Dr that I have ever seen and I have a team of Dr's due to chronic health conditions. Dr Vasiloudes fit me into his schedule, even on the day when he doesn't see patients. He took my call in the middle of the night and was very kind and understanding, listening to my concerns. I wish all of my Drs had the bedside manners that Dr Vasiloudes has!

wife made my appointment, didn't know what to expect. even though I was clueless, their staff treated me very well and explained my entire dermatology / skin care screening.
