Dr. Pandurang Miskin, MD

Horrendous ego-driven doctor that wants you out of his office as quickly as possible. The office let you know you are just there for your appointment so that you can pay them. I needed clearance for a huge surgery and I have evidence of brain damage in a CAT scan however this doctor decided to report that I have no brain damage and will take care of it after I have a huge surgery that has a double booked spot on the surgical table. He does not care that I had a stroke before I was 30 brought me in front of his medical staff to question me about brain anatomy and when I knew all the answers I was then lectured and yelled at. This doctor finds his patients a complete threat if they know any information. He is a dangerous egotistical doctor who does not have any empathy and clearly needs to retire many years ago. To be yelled at by a doctor what I need to know why I'm having Strokes before 30 is a disgrace. This doctor should be ashamed and so should his office. He should lose his license… because doctors need to have ethics in this doctor clearly doesn't. Look at his reviews he's allowing people to die with brain tumors and telling them they have dementia clearly he needs to be gone from this profession and retire.

This Doctor (If you can call him that) is the worst person on earth! He puts his patients down, does not listen to them and is a drug pusher. He writes scripts rather than take care of his patients problems. Threw me out of his office and I didn't say a word to him. I think he is nuts!

If I could give him a zero, I would. He would not let me finish a sentence or ask a question. Constantly interrupted me and he became defensive because I was trying to ask questions about an action plan. I will not return. Don’t waste your time with this doctor.

First visit yelled when asked about Spinal Tap second visit released me even though I have a very serious illness now being treated as John's Hopkins! Have no clue how he could have treated me as such!

Dr. Miskin is a excellent doctor and I say this even though I am no longer his patient. I was his patient for 18 years and have a good relationship with him. I was dismissed as a patient because of a staff member who I actually hope no longer works there. I had requested a medication refill and when the person called to tell me it was ready. But this girl told me the prescription was ready but that doctor wanted me to get it in the future from another doctor. Thats where my conversation with her should have ended but it didn't. This girl kept talking and talking and it felt like she was talking down to me. She didn't know me from a hole in the wall, but when I would try to explain something to her to get off the phone she would then begin talking again and I started getting angry with her. There are people who overtalk and those who just get to the point, this was the overtalker. Dr. Miskin took his employee's side on it and without further discussion I hung up the phone. I never… picked up the prescription and I never spoke to Dr. Miskin in person before he discharged me. As a patient of 18 years I should have at least had that last conversation but never got it. However, after saying all this, he as a doctor I have absolutely no complaints about and it makes me feel terrible that he's gotten all these negative reviews.

Caught a serious brain infection before it became fatal

The most compassionate, thorough doctor I have ever been to. Never rushes. Really listens to get as much info as possible. I've been going to him for years. Simply the best!

I was a little hesitant about going to Dr. Miskin, based on a couple of the written reviews here. But I was desperate at the time and made an appointment. The initial appointment was thorough; he did a full neurological exam, answered my questions and tried to assure me that nothing was wrong. Even though I'm young(ish), he didn't dismiss my complaints. He ordered an MRI based on the symptoms I was experiencing. When that came back clean, he re-tested my reflexes. Something was awry, so he ordered another two MRIs. At my followup appointment, he said everything was fine. He also said he was surprised that everything was fine, which sort of blew my mind. He never once let on that he thought something might be wrong. He continually tried to assure me that my abnormal reflexes and twitching were "normal for me." I clung to that and figured he ordered the MRIs out of an abundance of caution. I appreciate his emotional IQ. He saw how extremely nervous I was and managed to save me from… additional distress. I'm thankful for that, and I'm thankful for my health.

Dr. Miskin has been my neurologist since 1998 when I was first diagnosed with MS. Over the years I have had as his patient I couldn't have asked for a better doctor. He is knowledgeable and caring. He will take the time to listen and shows nothing but compassion. He is a excellent doctor that is a god send. I realize each individual has a favorite doctor and a doctor who is just good enough. I have a excellent relationship with him and he doesn't brush off my complaints. He's funny, kind, a total professional when it comes to my care and treatment. He's changed my life and continues to make sound medical decisions and provides sound medical advice. I respect him and he and I have developed a mutual trust and respect. I have nothing but positive experiences and in my eyes he can do no wrong.

Horrible. Worst dr I have ever had. Nasty and sarcastic. Won't be going back nor referring anyone I know to go there.
