Dr. Panduranga R Kini, MD

I took my mother to Dr. Kini for the first time in 8.2019. We arrived on time and were taken back fairly quickly. Dr. Kini was very thorough, but is very hard to understand. I was able to understand him, but my mother struggled. He talks very fast, but I feel he listenedd to us and we were not rushed. In fact, he asked some of the same questions 2-3x to be sure the answers didn't change and to investigate her symptoms further. I had asked 2 of her other physicians about Dr. Kini prior to her appt and they both said he was a very good dr. At this time, I have no reason to disagree.

Disliked his office manner Seemed to have no time to listen. Basically had to ask me what meds I was on. He just kept prescribing me me different levels of the meds I was on and the seizure s continue. Talked to fast. Made me feel like there was no light at the end of my tunnel. Just overall seemed like he didn’t care about or have time for me.

I was a returning patient of Dr. Kini's. A couple of years ago he helped me considerably. Yes, his speaking style is SUPER fast and I could see how others might dislike his manner but I thought he was just funny weird instead of bad weird if that makes sense. However, when I needed to return to him this year he didn't even bother to show up to the appt. There were other patients with appts before mine who had been waiting forever. One woman who could barely even breath. It was scary. I think we all thought she really needed to be seen by a dr but the dr decided to just not show up.

I have had a neurological disorder for over a month and always prescribes me with medication that I don't need / doesn't fix me. He admitted me into the hospital and all he can say is "You're fine." If I was fine, I wouldn't be out of work for the whole month and I wouldn't be in his office.

He didn't listen, didn't read my file/reports and made stuff up, then kept trying to give me medication for a tumor, saying the tumor wasn't a big deal. (Yes it is. He just couldn't operate and should have sent me to a surgeon.) All he apparently does is give drugs. BTW, he's also impossible to understand, unless that was drinking. I dunno. I was married to an Indian man for several years, and was used to South Asian accents. Never a problem. This was the first time in my life I couldn't understand someone.

What business or medical practice does not take credit card for payment, I was told cash only so I walked out.

Rude, disrespectful. Bring 40 cash, come out to call me in wearing resonably short shorts and a vneck tshirt. Doc doesnt listen, asks same question over and over. Makes a diagnosis, requests another 1000 test and prescribes plavix and told it has no side effects. What? I said everything has side effects. He assured none. I could go on. Never again.
