Dr. Pankaj Thapar, MD

I have seen Dr. Thapar for over a year now. He is proving me with injections for pain in my hip and leg. He has always listened to my concerns and provided the help I need. We discuss the appropriate treatment. His office staff is very helpful and pleasant to deal with.

Dr Thapar is very professional, his pain treatment has been amazing. He is also very caring, something you don't always see in Dr's these days!

He told me nothing was wrong with my back. He still gave me injections, even though he said nothing was wrong. 8 years later I needed a L4 L5 and S1 with transitional vertebrae bone fusion. Sounds like I really had issues but he didn't listen to me. My advice is save your money and find a GOOD doctor.

Explains things very well. Gives the option of using anesthesia or not. Good bedside manner. Respectful of patients.

Dr. Thapar is an awesome and caring doctor. He helped my daughter tremendously while she was having back pain. His office staff, on the other hand,is horrible. One woman in particular is extremely rude and does not apparently know what she is doing--she tried to charge me a $100 dollar copay, until the other girl in the office told her that it was a billing code!! She is rude and gets things mixed up frequently. If you can get through the headache of getting by the front office, you will be well taken care of by Dr. Thapar.

I would recommend Dr Thapar to anyone having pain issues. He diagnosed my problem right on and with a steroid injection, fixed my pain problem. Have not had pain for 4 years since then. Dr. Thapar is very caring and explains things so it is easy to understand. I would definitely go to him again if the need arose.

Dr. Thapar is horrible. He will not refill pain meds if you NEED them, and will fight with you about it wether you really need them or not. The procedures I paid over $300 for did not even work, and when I told him this a few weeks later he did not seem to care at all. I would NOT recommend him to ANYONE who is in serious pain and needs good,solid medical attention. In my opinion he is a quack.
