Dr. Paola Ivette Alvarez, MD

Dr. Alvarez is an excellent doctor and cared for my mother when she needed it the most. She contacted me directly to keep me informed of my mother's developing condition. This was during the Covid19 pandemic (pre-vaccine period). I was not able to be with my mom while she was in the ICU. Dr. Alvarez made every effort to accommodate my family's wishes and worked tirelessly to help us out through our time of crisis. Dr Alvarez is an absolute angel, and I pray for her every night. If only all healthcare personnel were half as caring as she is. Each time I've mentioned her name to her peers and assisting staff, the response always comes with words of highest respect and admiration. - God Bless You Always Dr. Alvarez -

Dr. Alvarez has been spectacular. After experiencing a puzzling and mounting gaggle of symptoms, I began seeing another doctor who dismissed my concerns and assumed that I was drug-seeking. After a few uneventful appointments, I gave up. I began experiencing a new symptom months later and felt that it needed urgently addressed. I called my network and asked to be seen by whomever was available that day. As luck would have it, I was seen by Dr. Alvarez. She addressed that issue and having looked at my history, did some investigating about the symptoms for which i had seen the prior physician. Through all this, she has managed to uncover a few chronic issues and is dedicated to finding the cause of my most troubling symptoms. She spends an ample amount of time in our visits and is caring and very reassuring. If she could be every one of my specialists, I would be thrilled.

I love her! I started seeing her last year and she's always answered all my questions. I have no complaints.

She is amazing. I had some complex issues, and she was very caring, in control (as many dr's are in and out for shifts) she knew exactly what she was talking about, and when she didn't have great news for me before I was discharged, she gave me the best thing I needed - genuine care. She took me by the hand walked me downstairs and called me a cab herself, she told hospital volunteers that wanted to take me to lobby in a wheel chair that "No need. I am going to take him down. " If I had to pick one memory that I know I will never forget, it will be this one. Thank you so much Dr. Alvarez - you literally saved my life.
