Dr. Parag Pitroda, MD

Dr. Pitroda is only interested in doing what benefits him. I was diagnosed with cancer and he would not give me a referral to Moffitt, instead he had an ENT doctor friend of his do the surgery. After that surgery I dropped Dr. Pitroda and when my cancer came back I got referrals to Moffitt. But because the ENT doctor didn't get all the cancer, it spread throughout my body. Over the years, because of his selfish acts, it has metastasized and I have had a lobe of my lung removed, had a radical neck dissection, 35 days of radiation. Then a tumor in my right lung with 8 days of high intense radiation. Then three tumors in my brain. With the Brain I was put on a clinical trial for 8 months and severe illness the tumors are gone. This because of Moffitt and this didn' have to happen if Dr. Pitroda wasn't so selfish and cared for the patient instead of his pocket. Very impersonal and extremely selfish. I should have sued him for the pain and discomfort he has caused me.

Dr. Pitroda is the very best! He really cares about his patients, he is kind, thorough and always available to be of help. I really lucked out when I moved to Dade City and became his patient!

My grandmother fractured her vertebrae and Dr. Pitroda stated that it was an untreatable condition. She suffered such severe pain and could barely turn over in bed. Prior to this she was like a tornado running around the house. Later we found out from another physician that there was a simple and common procedure that could have been done to alleviated the majority of her pain. I was so distusted to think that my Grandma suffered unnecessarily. It is not only concerning that he did not know how to treat this condition, but also that he did not take any time to research a solution. If you simply goole it you can get the answer! This physician has been neglectful on many other issues, but I wanted to share the most concerning one. Please do not put yourself or anyone you love under the care of this man. It seems many others I have talked to in the Dade City area have had major problems with his neglectful care.
