Dr. Parantap Gupta, MD

Today I had an appointment with my daughter at Caremount with Dr. Gupta. We get to the front desk to check in around 3pm, which was the time of our appointment, and spent a few minutes talking to the receptionist about a future appointment we needed to make. We were checked in , my daughter proceeded to fill out her paperwork, and a few minutes later we were called into examination room. My daughter got her vitals checked and we were told the Dr. would be right in. After 17 minutes of us waiting, the receptionist that checked us in, told us that Dr. Gupta will not be seeing us because we were 11 minutes late. Our appointment was at 3pm and it said we checked in at 3:11. The receptionist was just as surprised as we were. I've been going to Mount Kisco Medical group, now Caremount, for 21 years and I have waited , at times, up to and hour or more to see a doctor. Mind you, I was at the desk checking in for a few minutes before I was put into the computer. This is beyond me to… think that This Doctor think his time is more valuable than mine or anyones for that fact. He may be a fine Doctor, BUT who does he think he is. If they had told me he had an emergency or was caught up in a procedure , I would have clearly understood. I don't think I have ever written a bad review, or any review, of anyone or anything. My time is precious, but I clearly understand that when you go to a doctors office you will be doing a fair share of waiting. Even if I was 10 minutes late, due to whatever circumstance, that I am turned away. What is wrong with this Doctor Gupta and his office? Have they ever ran late?? To say no would be a complete lie! To be treated by this doctor and his office with such disregard is a disgrace!!!!!!
