Dr. Parenkumar I Patel, MD

Receptionist is very rude. She does not answer the phone in a timely manner because she is on personal calls. She looses paper work that is faxed or that is hand delivered. I have an HMO which requires a lot of paperwork and she does not follow through properly in a timely manner. My pulmonary Doctor ordered a BiPap Breathing Machine for my Sleep Apnea over a month ago and as of this posting I have not gotten the machine despite it being approved by Humana. Why because the front office staff does not do its work in a timely manner. Dr. Mehta is a good Doctor but he is only in the Wesley Chapel Office a 1/2 day on Tuesday or 1/2 Day on Friday. A year ago the other Great Doctor left the Practice. Dr. Patel does not have a very good bedside manner dealing with patients he is to clinical. More worried about someone suing him than Patient Care. He does not follow through properly with the patients. He has called me without even bothering looking at your current records. I have gotten… calls from him about a message that I left but he obviously has not read my medical records before calling and seems confused about issues. I have a blood clotting problem according to doctors and I am on blood thinners. Dr. Mehta has me taking two separate dosage scripts to maintain certain levels. Dr. Patel does not always fill my prescriptions. The quality of the Wesley Chapel Office has went down over the pasted year after Dr. Dham leaving the practice. Another big problem is that the Office does not have a full time office manager onsite. The Practice Office Manager operates out of the Citrus Park Office. And when the BOSS is away the mice play and it delays patient needs. Until the problems in the Practice are fixed I would not recommend patients pick this office for there primary care needs.

He is a very bad doctor I think he’s not a real doctor.

He's honest, and doesn't "beat around the bush." He lays the diagnosis out there and doesn't take chances. He gives clear instructions, and is always there for whatever I need.
