Dr. Paresh Dandona, MD

Unhappy long standing patient (about 5 years), 2 hours there to see the doctor 15 minutes almost every time, pushing new drug(s) injectable/oral for study, & after 30 year diagnosis as type 1 on pump/CGM, now wanting to do test if possibly a type 2.

No care, did not listen to me. I asked him to review my lab tests which were not normal.hormones all out range. Tried to show him and dr kuhadiya( a new doctor at ub med on sheridan) no one would listen was told to return on 90 days.no one could explain why all my Labs were out of whack.the front office staff is no better so rude, they triple book the patients and they get frustrated when busy like it was my fault.they rush you in and out like cattle.this is one of the worst doctors and facilities.i visited the sheridan branch in dent tower but he also works with flint dr wny endocrinology.as it turns out I was spot on and diagnosed myself of course it was too late and am so sick I can not work.DO NOT GO HERE, THEY DO NOT CARE THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY.

triple books so he os in a hurry, does not listen to his patients.unless you want your illness to get worse go see a younger doctor who has a better bedside manner.also if you are knowledgeable in the least he gets upset when challenged.also waited 2.5 hours

I have been seeing Dr. Dandona for a thyroid issue for a few months now and I think he is a very smart doctor. I have seen his intern as well and he is very intelligent and helpful too. Very kind as well. He has been watching me carefully and trying to keep me off meds for my issue. His staff has been nice and very helpful as well. The only problem I have is the long wait in the office and how long you have to wait to schedule an appointment. Be prepared to wait at least a month for an appointment. Other than that no complaints!

Dr. Dandona is an excellent physician..the problem is that it's basically a clinic so you cant request the appointment with him. Unfortunately, unless you have a difficult case, he is rarely called in to review your case. I met with Dr. Dandona over the course of 6+ months and he did everything he could possibly do to try and help me. He's so kind and bright.

Dr. Dandona is an expert in the field of diabetes and related diseases. He is a brilliant and caring man who I have trusted with my medical care for over 30 years. His staff of physicians are all highly skilled and knowledgeable.

This doctor may be very intelligent and well-published, however, his office staff was rude and unprofessional, and I had no time with the doctor to discuss my concerns. The results of my blood tests where not shared with me, and my requsts for follow-up appointments were ignored. This office even refused to send my records to a new endocrinologist. This is is one of the worst doctor's office expeiences I have ever been through.
