Dr. Paresh P. Kamat, MD

New patients beware! Here's my story - I set up an appointment w/ Dr. Kamat due to severe abdominal pains. He took me on as a new patient, but didn't communicate he was leaving for an extended vacation. Started me on medication, which had bad side effects. Called his office to discuss and couldn't get an answer except for "He's on vacation, we don't know." After 7 days, they finally confirmed E. Coli. I asked what the next steps were...different medication, something else? No communication for 6 more days. (Yes, I followed up.) 13 days after my initial visit, I ultimately had to go to urgent care for - you guessed it - severe abdominal pain. That doctor and nurse were shocked by how poorly Dr. Kamat and staff had acted. Not prescribing medication correctly and more. Dr. Kamat can do much, much better by patients than the terrible experience I had...not to mention again being doubled up in pain again for something treatable. Do better.

Dr. Kamat made this procedure from the first office visit to the time in the hospital as comfortable as possible. His office staff and the staff at the hospital were top notch. From the time I received instructions to the actual procedure I felt in good, capable hands.

Dr. Kamat is friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. He takes time to listen, and answers all questions thoroughly. He has helped me considerably with my ailments and I hope to continue my relationship with him.
