Dr. Parham Karimi Ghavami, MD

Dr. Ghavami was very knowledgeable and helpful. He took the time to listen to my concerns and thoroughly address them during my appointment. Dr. Ghavami also has a very warm personality and clearly enjoys helping patients. I highly recommend him to anyone considering Swedish primary care in Seattle.

Ghavami is the most courteous and thoughtful Doctor I've had. He takes time to ensure accurate communication, and that all questions are answered. I feel very safe in his care.

Dr. Ghavami was very unhelpful during my visit with him. First he had a medical student with him and did not even bother to examine me on his own, and the medical student's exam totaled about 3 minutes. I was hoping for a second opinion and referral on a disorder I was diagnosed with, but he simply said there was no way I had this issue and pretty much laughed it off. This was extremely disheartening, especially since I was in a great deal of pain. I will never visit this doctor again, and hope he understands that pain is not something to laugh about.

Even after moving 30 minutes away, I still use Dr Ghavami as my family doctor. He's one of the best I've found - would recommend him to anyone. Very practical, highly knowledgeable, and has one of the best 'bedside manners' of any doctor I've run into.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Ghavami. I felt he connected with my teen daughter, showed compassion, belief, and interest in her situation, and seemed competent. Personally, I did not find him condescending (as mentioned by another reviewer) - he is just a rather cheerful, positive sort of person. This review is based on just one visit.

I found this doctor to be patronizing (lots of smiling and winking), defensive, and arrogant. He contradicted himself and was hasty with a diagnosis. I would not recommend seeing this physician.

great experience. He was very caring and even called back the next day to check on my son with respiratory illness. Great bedside manner.
