Dr. Paris A Kharbat, DO

Dr Kharbat is very knowledgeable and was a quick study of my long health history. She is a great listener and was very helpful in explaining what is holding back my health recovery! I'm all about doing my homework up to 100% of the recommendations. Thank you Dr Kharbat for motivating me again!!!

I was on a waiting list for a year to get this appointment. I spent hours filling out a tedious survey for all medical history, diet, exercise, etc. The survey came with a warning that it must be completed within two weeks of the appointment, so I was certain to have it completed on time. Then the office called and cancelled one week before my appointment because the "Dr. Kharbat won't be in that day." I called back and they had no available time slots that would work with my schedule, with most slots being at least two months away. I am no longer interested trying to interface with this doctor or the functional medicine center.

Those of us with chronic illness appreciate Dr. Kharbat for her skills at finding what is truly wrong with you beyond the symptoms that you have. My fiancee has found relief from his chronic fatigue and my health is also significantly improved with the help of Dr. Kharbat. I am a pharmacist by training and am very impressed with what functional medicine and acupuncture have to offer patients. Without Dr. Kharbat my stress, fibromyalgia, lupus, and sleeping problems would of consumed me and I would not be able to work. She's the best!

Over all the office is beautiful, calm and much better then most offices. The staff is amazing and always willing to help. EVERYTHING is online which is difficult: Can't talk to a real person, have to email EVERYTHING, appointments are online and billing is done via email as well. The policies are just insane: 48 hours to cancel or you get charged for the entire visit($200+), late fees if your not on time, tons of paperwork before you can even schedule, the amount of time with the doctor feels rushed, her takes on things are wild and she talks to you like your dumb. She pushes alot of her work onto her assistant to explain and doesn't give you time to really ask her questions. Follow up on labs and testing and watching trends is lacking. Overall I would say you could find other options in the area with better service and ease of treatment. Another thing to watch for with seeing this doctor is billing for your visits can take up to 6 months to come back for you. I wouldn't want a huge… bill for your visits to come in 6 months later... Everything must be paid cash or check so no credit or debit can be used. They don't seem to deposit checks for sometimes a month at a time which can be irritating. Dr. Kharbat over all - high strung, rushed, and treats her patients like she knows all and they are nothing more then another file on her desk.

Dr. Paris is known for being a great doctor, and she lives up to her reputation! Recommended, 5 stars!
