Dr. Parizad Hooshi, MD

In my role as the practice manager for the facility, I have had the sincere pleasure of working alongside Dr. Hooshi for several years. Dr. Hooshi has an amazing reputation in the medical community for her expertise in her field and for her dedication to providing excellent patient care. Regarding the recent review, the patient arrived 4.5 hours prior to her appointment. Despite Dr. Hooshi personally assuring the patient that we would see her as soon as possible, the patient ultimately declined to be seen that day. Paperwork initially presented to the facility was returned to the patient, however, since the appointment was not kept, the employer’s documentation requirements for a completed appointment did not apply.

"I recently had a deeply distressing experience with Dr. Hooshi at the Specialty Imaging Center in Northridge, CA. During my visit, she exhibited an unprofessional and disrespectful demeanor that left me feeling upset and frustrated. Inappropriately, she raised her voice (YELLED)at me in the lobby, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere for both staff and other patients. When I expressed my desire to change my appointment, she not only refused but also withheld necessary authorization papers, hindering my ability to seek medical care elsewhere. This refusal extended to critical documentation I needed for my employer, demonstrating a lack of empathy and understanding of my situation. In a healthcare setting, professionalism and compassion are paramount, and unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Hooshi fell short on both fronts. I would caution others to carefully consider their options before choosing Specialty Imaging Center in Northridge or any location associated with Dr. Hooshi.… Such behavior is unacceptable, and I hope that my feedback contributes to a better understanding of patient care expectations at this facility. They have camera's so what I am saying can be verified! She's not a healer or builder, she is a wicked demon destroyer!
