If you are considering this doctor, let me save u time money and sanity. She is horrible. After my very first visit with her I went to the appt desk and changed doctors before I even walked out the door. I have read the other reviews and everything that is said here about her was basically my visit. So there is no need to “copy and paste” my review, I got my refills after a tongue lashing about how my meds are horrible for me and got out of there before saying what I wanted to say. I came home feeling worse than I did going in. And I thought when I came in a hour early and literally didn’t sit down before I was called was a good thing. Nope!!! Maybe it’s because no one wants to see her so her schedule is wide open.

I dread going to the doctor because Dr. Doshi has a horrible attitude and lacks bedside manner. Anytime I have concerns, she brushes them off as if I have no idea what I’m talking about. For example, during one of my visits I told her I had bumps behind my ears and the skin on the left side of my face hurt, and she told me it was nothing. I went to urgent care two days later to find out I had Shingles on my face. When I told her about it at my next visit, all she said was, “oh.” She always comments on my weight in a negative way, and her nurses are not any better. Do yourself a favor and NEVER go to her.

Complete waste of time

AWFUL bedside manner!!!! She is rude and argumentative for no reason. This doctor had no concerns about my well being. She even seemed confused why I needed to see a doctor even though a week prior I was in the ER! Plus I needed a primary care doctor since I am new to the area. NEVER again will I go to this woman and if you're looking for a doctor, please run away from this one!

Lacks bedside manner; didn't make eye contact when entering the room, introduced herself and starting typing in the computer and spoke to me for about a minute before looking at me. Ordered me to stop drinking coffee and drink more water after I told her what was going on. Didn't even ask me if I drank coffee. She also prescribed a medication for a condition I had before. She asked what I had taken before and I told her, and explained that it worked before, but she said it wasn't strong enough and prescribed a different (but similar) medication at double the dose. Why change what worked & double it? Saw her twice, not going back.

Dr. Doshi is rude, unprofessional, uninterested in the well being of her patients. I came in to her office in regards to severe back pain and knee pain. I was on a path of weight lost until I started having issues with my back which has effected my ability to exercise as I was prior. Instead of asking what may be the issue as to why I gained the weight back, she started reprimanding me. I had to literally tell her not to do that and that she should be more concern with the "WHY". After I advised her of her great idea to add more weight training and increase my work out ( I was already working out 5-6 days, 3 days twice a week with light weight training) this could potentially have been the reason my back was out of whack, only then did she proceed to give me the appropriate referrals. I made a statement of possible stomach issues and she never address it. I have been a patient of Dr. Doshi for too long and have now decided to stop my visits with her. She does not know how to… communicate effectively and efficiently with her patients. She only knows how to down talk and make one feel bad for having to consult with a professional. Every issue is always weight related and this is not always the case. Taking my business else where and if I find I'm experiencing the same issues with any of the other providers there, I will be leaving the facility all together. Stop overbooking visits, so you can have time to spend with your patients.

Dr Doshi is rude and intimidating. I waited 30 minutes before my appointment when the nurse noticed me and called me into the office. There had been a problem with the sign-in and they did not receive my name in the computer that I had arrived. Instead of being apologetic, Dr Doshi stated it was my fault and proceeded to yell at me for not coming to the desk and asking why my wait was so long! . My appointment was for severe abdominal pain. Upon examination she commented to her nurse that I was "too fat" and "can't get a good exam". I weigh 162Ibs. And when I told her I have a lot of pain, her response was "I didn't ask you that". I don't know why I tolerated seeing this Doctor for several appointments. Today when I called to have my prescriptions for blood pressure and acid reflux renewed, she refused until I come in for my next appointment. That's not for 2 weeks because SHE cancelled my original appointment when I was due for my med refills. Now I'm out of my medicine, but that's… it. I'll make my appointment with someone else. Save yourself the headache!

The Hammond Clinic Wellness Center itself is very nice. The receptionists and nurses are very nice and helpful. This doctor, however, is horrible. She is rude and dismissive and when I offered information about my medical history she told me she wasn't interested. She never asked me if I had allergies or anything, but prescribed me medication anyway. I also was uncomfortable because I went there to discuss high cholesterol and had to strip completely naked before she would see me. Never again.
