Summary
I was born and raised in India. I obtained my medical degree in India. I completed my residency in Internal medicine at Highland general hospital in Oakland, CA. I first started working for Kaiser Permanente Hospital during my Chief Resident year. I thought it was a perfect fit for me. I was able to do hospital medicine and work with residents. I believe the physicians role is to provide information and guidance to help prevent the disease and help you in managing the disease as it happens. I believe each person has individual needs and specific expectations out of medical treatment. I respect each persons options as to how his/her health is to be managed and expect individuals to be actively involved in the decision-making management of care. I believe strongly in evidence-based medicine. Outside of work, I like spending time with my husband and daughter.
