Dr. Parvez Dara

I had breast cancer stage one and he gave me chemo and when his office closed down my new oncologist said I should have never had chemo for stage one cancer! Also my blood work was done on each visit once a month, I should had been going every 6 months after that and it just shows you,$$$From one view I read ( which wasn’t that great) I agree , the place wasn’t that clean, staff always agitated , and the chemo room full and the nurse frazzled and my experience there for my treatments wasn’t good, I truly wish I had gotten another opinion and had gone else where. He should not get his license back! I agree with the charges he faced because I also had to go and get tested for hepatitis ( I was a patient there when all this went down)

Dr Dara showed my first husband who was only 21 when he died that he would do anything to try and give hm time and keep him living!! I absolutely loved Dr Dara and his staff being young they always took the time with us!!

Dr. Dara is an exceptional medical professional as well as an exceptional human being.He put my elderly father's cancer into remission and was highly trusted by my father and the rest of my family.Due to the oversight of one or two of his staff, blood was found in a treatment room. Five of his 2800 patients were infected with Hepatitis B, although 2 of these were found to have been infected before going to Dr. Dara. All five were seen at the hospital across the street and may have been infected there. The hospital had the "heads up" to clean up before State authorities arrived; Dr. Dara's staff did not. I am outraged that the State temporarily revoked his license. This left 2800 patients without this man's care. As a result, my father has had to go to another oncologist, one whom we do not have the same trust as Dr. Dara. We are awaiting for him to have his license renewed ASAP because Dad really wants to go back to him. BTW, I took Dad to have his blood tested and he did NOT have… HepB. We are hoping and praying that the NJ State Medical Boards will clear the doctor and grant him again his license to practice.

OUTSTANDING DOCTOR WHO HAS 100S OF CANCER PATIENTS IN REMISSION

My dad has been seeing Dr. Dara for a few years. He treats aggressively and is very skilled. However, he rarely balances quality of life and treatment and does not discuss them with the patient well. He is not as accessible and does not show the level of caring I would like. His office staff is frequently frustrating to get anything done, like getting information to another oncologist treating my Dad in Florida. The Florida oncologist by contrast is much more caring, takes time to explain to Dad his options and spends the time and respectfully defers to the patient's rights.
