Dr. Parvez A Memon, MD

Dr. Lemon been my doctor for almost 20 years! Never had a problem with him! Just found out he’s not at LHV anymore! I hope he’s still working somewhere else!

Having seen Dr. Memon for a number of months now, I'm sorry to convey he's not a good fit for me. When I choose a medical doctor I feel strongly that my health remedies SHOULDN'T have to compete with his religious beliefs!! Dr. Memon has frequently 'preached' (in my opinion) about his personal spiritual views, pushing them off on me as though I don't pray effectively enough if I'm suffering with whatever malady which brought me to him in the first place. I find it remarkably disrespectful!! My journaling and prayer practices have been in place for many years! God, Himself is not questioning them and my relationship with Him is not for Dr. Memon to question or correct if it's not in alinement with his! When I HAVE shared with Dr. Memon, relating to my thoughts or actions on certain matters (which I've learned saying NOTHING is best) he then tells me how I need to have greater forgiveness and pray more! (Insert serious sarcastic comment.... many come to mind!...) I went to… him for MEDICAL help, not spiritual reconditioning. Save your breath doctor! Bottom line here: After all of his spiritual story telling, during my appointments, he wrote a script for testing: 'a renal doppler' and VIOLA, therein relayed one of the primary reasons for one of my maladies! I had to call his office numerous times and then request my files be printed for me to pick up (& possibly have another health professional decipher for me) before one of the secretaries (who'd forced the issue with him to relay the test results to her so she could relay them to ME!). I didn't even hear what the doppler read from the doctor himself but rather his office staff a couple of weeks after the test results had been sent to him! It was a serious matter which requires surgery! During my next visit with the doctor he was enthralled with himself for having told me to PRAY over the answer and 'NOW LOOK... AH HA', the test results have revealed the answer!! Newsflash Doc: I've been praying for years & years (I guess your judgments of my 'unforgiving heart' must be to blame at this point and I guess my methods of praying didn't meet with God's standards until you became my doctor!). Same appt, after he wouldn't renew one of my prescriptions (THAT HE'D WRITTEN FOR ME, BTW) due to "it's not being indicated" I threw my hands up! It's the only script allowing a full night's sleep and he won't renew it! I told him, "but it's YOU who wrote it!!" he said, "yes, well I guess I made a mistake". After sitting there trying to go over what he thought I should be switched to and seeing all of their very serious side effects (when I already knew well what was working for me and he was now removing me from because he said that strength was ONLY FOR MEN) I left his office! Got up in a huff (exasperated) and left. I will not be returning. I pray for a new doctor (the right one for me) and I expect my prayers will be answered since God has been hearing them all along.

Dr. Memon thinks it's acceptable to tell a patient that this will never go away & its going to be with me for the rest of my life. Then proceeded to say that I need to turn to God for pain relief. I'm very disappointed that he clearly doesn't care about getting me out of the pain I've been dealing with for 28 years now. Yes I'll say it I can't take nurontin because Im allergic so I can't take the others because it's the same ingredient in everyone of them that I'm allergic to. If he actually cared he would have put me back on my Percocet 15's & my Xanax to help me get my life back. Instead he would rather talk about God & ignore the fact that I addressed my anxiety. If he wants patients to trust him AGAIN he's going to have to trust his patients.

Dr. Memon is very kind and thorough. Give clear explanations. I'm pleased with his service and would highly recommend him.

Dr. Memon is the best doctor ever! He is caring, genuine and compassionate. I highly recommend him to anyone in need of healthcare. It's hard to find nowadays and Dr. Memon exemplifies everything a doctor should be!

Compassionate, ready to listen and I don't feel rushed when I'm with him.

Dr. Memon is the most caring family doctor I have ever had. Dr. Memon listens cares . Does everything for you to find an answer. I also live with depression Dr memon will sit & talk with you to make you feel somewhat better in your mind . He can put a smile only face . He's an amazing Dr I would recommended anyone to see him. Also I have seen Dr Di she's also an amazing Dr. She is also so loving &. caring .. Would also recommend her also .

Dr. Memon listens to you. He takes the time to help you and has a positive attitude. I find him to be very caring about my well-being. He not only cares about what he's treating, but when he gets reports from other docs (gyn, for example), he reviews it, makes recommendations, and follows up with you because he cares. He remembers everything on your next visit which to me, makes me feel he makes a connection with his patients. He's a mellow doctor, non-aggressive and has a kind heart. The staff is wonderful. They are always pleasant and friendly. Making an appointment is easy and they will fit you in if you have an emergency. Wait time can fluctuate, but I think it is because doctor is listening to his patients' needs.

Not only did he save my daughter's life, he also saved my son. Best bedside manner of any doctor I've ever known. Compassionate, caring and fantastic pysician.

I think seeing the doctor should be close to appoint as possible..Over all was happy with my visit...
