Dr. Parviz Amini, MD

One particular young front office staff member is unprofessional and condescending. While my nurse was performing EKG on me, I could hear her keep calling my nurse's name over and over, knowing that she's inside the room with me doing an EKG. The nurse finally excused herself to stop her from yelling out her name. I could hear their conversation - she just want to tell the nurse that she needs to take her lunch! and wrap up what she's doing with me, so the nurse can go to lunch. Mind you this is in the middle of my EKG. She was upset that the nurse hadn't gone to lunch and that it delayed her lunch break. She made my heart rate go up on how UTTERLY UNPROFESSIONAL this front desk lady, that I came up with abnormalities in my result. Few of the elderly people who waited with me in the lobby had told her off because of how she was speaking with all the patients. No manners and again very condescending. I didn't see Dr. Amini, but the NP was nice and the nurse that did my EKG.

Dr. Amini came highly recommended to me by another physician and family member of mine, and I am so grateful to him and his entire staff for the care I received. Dr. Amini’s receptionist, medical assistants, and support staff including medical scribe were all extremely considerate, with the highest level of professionalism and made me instantly comfortable. Dr. Amini did a very thorough review of my past history including medical records, and also performed a detailed and complete physical examination, before coming up with a treatment plan that we were both comfortable with. Not only does Dr. Amini have several years of experience giving him excellent gut instincts, but he is very kind, patient, and thorough, and extremely dedicated to his practice. I am honored to be a patient of his and know that my overall health and well being are in very skilled and compassionate hands. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Amini and his entire office staff for their years of experience, kindness, patience,… thoroughness, and dedication to the practice.

This lady who has strong English scent hang up the phone on me 2 times while I was trying to schedule a first time office visit. I told this lady this was my 2nd call & I had been waiting for someone to return my call regarding our insurance verification so three of my family members can schedule appointments, but no one ever called me back! This lady said she had no idea who I spoke to & she had no appointment available for the next 4 weeks which was NOT the case the 1st lady I spoke to! Fine, I offered to tell her my insurance information again, but she started very impatiently & kept saying there were 3 more lines waiting for her to answer! She never took down my insurance information & simply told me "there are plenty of other doctors to visit", & hang up the phone! I called again, a different lady asked me to hold, then, the same Rude Lady answered the phone again. When I asked her "why did you hand up my call?" She said, "because doctor told me to?" OK, I got it, I just NEVER… have this kind of experience with a Rude & Impatient Receptionist ever before!! If the Receptionist doesn't care of making appointments for the new patients, I believe Dr. Parviz Amini will not care about seeing new patients, either!!

I have been a patient of Dr. P. Amini for over 10 years. In that time he has treated me so well, always recognizing what my problem was immediately and treating it correctly. I could never ask for a better physician.

Office staff is rude and very difficult to work with. Dr Amini is a great physician but his office staff makes it very difficult to get anything done. For that reason, I have decided after 10+ years of seeing him that I am going to a new internist. Nothing personal, but his staff treats me and others very badly.
