Parwana Schell, PT

Parwana completed her education at the University of Colorado at Boulder and the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. She has practiced outpatient physical therapy in Oregon since2004 and has clinical interests in Pilates based rehabilitation, manual therapy, sports rehabilitation and post surgical care. Parwana has extensive training in STOTT Pilates, and integrates Pilates principles — such as body awareness, posture, mobility and stability — with movement science to enhance patient outcomes. A former gymnast, she particularly enjoys working with gymnasts, dancers and performing artists. She also serves as a faculty mentor in Samaritan’s Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency Program, supporting the development of future orthopedic specialists. Outside of work, Parwana enjoys hiking, skiing, baking and cheering on her children’s activities.
