Great doctor very professional

Was very informative about the surgery upfront. Gave excellent care throughout the whole process.

Had hernia repair, mesh placed. Had extreme burning that didn't go away. Called 3 weeks post op to make appt, but he called me instead and said i must have a low pain tolerance, and acted as though I was drug seeking, even though I never asked him for meds nor was i planning to! I have lived my entire life with serious painful health issues, therefore I have a very high tolerance for pain, and the burning literally was so intense, indescribable. The mesh is now all balled up and I need my entire abdomen reconstructed. He is definitely arrogant and full of himself. He never followed up.

Last fall, I was diagnosed with colon cancer. Within a few hours of finding the tumor on a colonoscopy, I was in Dr. Iannoli's office meeting with him about scheduling surgery. He was wonderfully compassionate, clear and detailed about my surgical needs. He took time to listen and answer all of my questions. His team is excellent, including both the other doctors and his office staff. I have seen a lot of doctors this past year. His team is top-notch.

I would NOT recommend Dr. Iannoli to anyone seeking surgical advice. It simply is: his way or the highway! There is no discussion and no other plan besides HIS. Get a SECOND OPINION if you deal with him.

First time meeting him and I felt I knew this doctor long time

missed a very critical diagnosis the first surgery he performed, very fast he spends very little time on follow up and doesn't explain procedures in detail he left me an orpahaned patient at Unity while he went on vacation after a serious colon surgery. Staff is cold and irrated like they are put out to help schedule mutiple appointments or help explain what is happening. I would never recommend him when question about procedureds he doesn't recall conversations - you need to take a tape recorder with you! Felt like I was at the DMV office.

Dr. Iannoli performed my parathyroidectomy. He was caring, reassuring (I was somewhat anxious because my prior surgery experience was miserable.) The surgery was outpatient and I had very little pain. I was only in Rochester a couple of weeks and then returned to Arizona where I was living. He even called me Easter Sunday to find out how I was doing! I highly recommend him!

rude to referring physician. if interested in being cared for by a surgeon that will be rude to your doctor, you have found your man.
