Dr. Pasquale Arthur Picco, MD

Just terrible. When describing my symptoms, which I now know to be anxiety, he said "I don't know what to tell you, I'm not a psychiatrist." After that, an eyeroll and a shove out the door, one could understand why I did not return. What a wonderful sense of comfort to get from your doctor!

Dr. Picco has been my primary care doctor for several years. It is good to see an MD as opposed to a PA or nurse practitioner. He has always given me good advice. He does not order tests or treatments unless they are necessary. He tells me under what circumstances I should call him to be seen. He does not hand out prescriptions like popcorn. He has a pleasant down to earth demeanor and a good sense of humor. Some reviewers may not understand how busy physicians are these days and how hard they work. I am not surprised he doesn't have time to chat with his patients - he has too many of them.

I’ll certainly be sharing all about my family’s multiple bad experiences with everyone I know. One of his nurses and a couple of the receptionists are very sweet and I hope they’ll one day consider working for someone decent. Picco is careless, insensitive, quick to get people out of his office, laughably arrogant and cowardly. He could not even look us in the face when we left for the last time (after laying blame on my family, the week of my grandma’s funeral, about an ongoing issue with my grandpa that HE had shrugged off for YEARS and it finally got bad enough for him to pay attention.) I left in tears and truly hope the rest of his patients will wake up and realize that the convenience of being close to home doesn’t always outweigh a good, genuinely helpful and pleasant doctor who CARES. I really believe he wouldn’t have enough patients to survive in a larger area. It’s just such a shame that he tainted Dr. Felsen’s amazing practice. Please don’t waste your time here.

Worse bed side manner I have ever seen and takes no responsibility for his shortcomings as a doctor. Which I don’t even like to call him a doctor.

I went to him for a while and tried over looking his rudeness and his attitude. I didn't last long before I went to a much better Dr. I would not recommend him to anybody.

Very knowledgeable, kind, thorough

Dr. Picco is excellent.

I think Dr. Picco is a good doctor but he (the office) overbooks appointments and everyone has to wait 45 to 50 minutes after their appointment time and it feels he is rushing through each appointment in order to see everyone. Many people do not have the luxury to wait an hour or longer so end up leaving and having to reschedule.

Should never taken over Dr Felsen's practice. He makes you feel like you are wasting his time if you have a sinus infection or an everyday illness. I doubt he could save you if you were dying! Office receptionist is rude! I switched. Jones really screwed up when they brought him to Wellsville! I switch to someone out of town!

Dr Picco literally extended my mother's life by his expertise and knowledge. My dad and I are now pts of his, and have had excellent care. If your looking for a 'chatty', 'get to know all your family' type of doctor, he may not be your man. However, if you want someone who is an excellent diagnostician, and a 'down to business' MD, you can't do better in this area.
