Patience Ngozi Agbodzie

I saw Dr. Patience Agbodzie via telehealth because I was home with 3 sick children who had all tested positive for flu A two days prior. I started to exhibit symptoms, so I scheduled an appt for a Tamiflu script. As with the majority of my Allegheny Health Network experiences, this was a colossal waste of time. Dr. Agbodzie never once made eye contact with me. She did not ask appropriate questions to gauge my status. She did not consider that I had taken a fever reducer and, shockingly, no longer had a fever. She refused to prescribe me the Tamiflu. Instead, she insisted that I go somewhere to get tested for Covid (with three sick kids who have flu A?). She prescribed a nasal spray (why?). She also suggested that I try a honey remedy when, clearly, I am allergic to bees and honey on my chart. She even put it in my notes!?? It was clear she was not interested in listening to me. As a woman, this is commonly my experience with AHN & doctors like Patience Agbodzie.
