Dr. Whimple and his staff are wonderful! I have had nothing but great experiences with them. Gloria is so very thoughtful and kind! Adrienne rocks! Dr. Whimple really listens and explains everything in detail, answering all my questions. Lord knows I'm a frequent visitor. I'm blessed to have my health, as well as my families health, in their caring hands.

Before becoming a Medicare patient Dr Whimple would see me monthly for follow treatments. Once on Medicare even though I was on my wife's work health care, he stopped seeing me monthly and moved me to every four months. No follow ups anymore and in a hurry during my office visit. Seemed cold spends more time on the key board than with me. Not much to choose from in town.

I feel he doesn't really care. Not friendly and seems cold. Lack of impression that he cares about patients.

Our family have been patients of Dr Whimple since he began practice in Elko and felt we had a good relationship with him. However, April, 2013, we were told to find a new doc because he didn't want any Medicare patients. Just like that, rather, his receptionist told us just like that. After 8 years and no indication that there was any problem, Dr Whimple has left us with no primary care physician and no reference for finding one. This is just wrong on so many levels.
