Dr. Patrice Dauphin, MD

After giving birth to my daughter my cervix tore, I was in the ICU for 3 days before being released back to labor and delivery. I had never been in the hospital for anything major so this was VERY scary for me. After being in the hospital for a week I was released to go home. One week after I was rushed back and had to under-go an emergency D&C. I have never been under anesthesia and was terrified! They put the oxygen mask over my face and was about to put me to sleep. Dr. Dauphin was the anesthesiologist, I told him I was having a really hard time breathing with the mask on my face, and proceeded to try to move it away. He then took the oxygen mask and threw it on me and yelled this is what needs to be done and walked away! The nurse then held my hand and reassured me it would be ok. I was in shock and could not believe a doctor would treat a patient like this. Especially the person who will be monitoring me while under anesthesia! I've never felt so scared in my life. I wouldn't… recommend this doctor to my worst enemy. I wish I could give him negative stars.
