Dr. Patrice Ferron Hirning, MD

Both Myself and my Mother were patients of Dr. Hirning for a number of years. We both never had an issue with her knowledge and treatment protocols, usually happy to give my mom samples of medications that pharmaceutical companies had given to her to pass out to patients. My mom always had insurance that paid for RX meds, but it always seemed that Dr. Hirning prescribed the newest, most expensive drugs. My mom was not usually able to afford these meds and Dr. Hirning was usually pretty good to give her samples. On one occasion, Dr. Hirning burst into the exam room and accused my mom of "conveniently" being able to afford certain medications that she said my mother really wanted to buy and just wanted the samples she didn't want to shell out the cash for. I can tell you everyone in that particular section of the clinic heard the entire rant that Dr Hirning stated that day. This has been over 10 plus years ago and neither one of us has been back to her since! We have both found new… Physicians since and have not been happier. Just thought we should make people aware of a Physician that has no regard for what other patients could hear.

I went in for an annual exam. Dr. Hirning looked at my chart and said my exam results two and four years ago were fine, so she assumed I should be fine this year. She did a stethoscope check and that was it. I'm guessing she received full payment for an annual exam from my health insurance company. I will not be seeing Dr. Hirning again.
