Dr. Patrice Mona Ringo

I really hope I can give her zero stars. This Dr. is so bad that I would recommend anyone to run far away. I was seen by her due to my ER visit, she didn't do any thorough examination, instead jumped directly to referrals without much conversation with patient. During my visit, she didn't communicate diagnosis, treatment, and medical advice, nor any interactive conversations with patient and family. She did nothing, did not help at all. We were just wasting time in ER with her. I am so surprised that she was not compassionate at all and took no effort to understand the situation and urgent care we need. I guess her job is just to shovel patients to other doctors. Because of her, I won't go to Contra Costa Medical Center ER again, I would rather go to other hospitals to get quality of care.

My father came to the Emergency room for the help with COVID. This Doctor sent him back home, a couple of days later he felt much worse and returned to the hospital. He was placed in the ICU room. Unfortunately, 2 weeks later he passed away. I don't want to think that if he wasn't sent back home by this doctor he could survive...

Came into the ER with pelvic pain and was put into a room and had to wait 3 hrs for her to come in because her nurse said she forgot about me. I was in so much pain, luckily my bf was there to be an advocate for me. She came in with a nasty attitude and didn't look at me at all, went right to computer. She proceeded to ask what was going on and I explained. She said "well, why are you in here and not being seen by an obgyn?" I said because the pain is horrible. She said that I needed a pelvic exam and we proceeded to do it. My bf was next to me and she says, "well you have pelvic inflammatory disease and the only way you can have this is from an STD." And gives my bf a nasty look. I was devastated. I thought he cheated. She gives me a shot of an antibiotic and sends me home. That night I get a horrific adverse reaction to it and im bleeding, nauseous, vomiting...later on the lab nurse calls me and says my std test results are negative. I couldn't believe the audacity of that DR.… She almost ruined a relationship. Please do NOT go to her!!

Dr Ringo has no bedside manner. She is condescending and and has zero people skills. I don't know how she keeps her job. Contra Costa County was scraping the bottom of the barrel when they hired her.

This doctor OBVIOUSLY was absent on the day they taught "bedside manner". She has a big, fake grin plastered on her face, but is very cocky, smug, and condescending. She did not listen to a word I was saying and could not accurately and professionally answer my questions. She needs to find a new profession.
