Dr. Patricia Lynn Bryant, MD

I have always been impressed with the amount of time that Dr. Bryant has taken to properly address the issues presented by my elderly Mother. Dr. Bryant always took the necessary amount of time to understand the health challenges my Mother was facing, and she always made helpful medical recommendations.

I've been seeing Dr. Bryant, or I should say, I've been going to her practice for about 8 years. Many of the negative comments about her or her staff in terms of only getting to see her PA and never Dr. Bryant, and unhelpful front desk staff, are things I used to experience also. However, things have been very different now that she works at Sage Neuroscience. Since her move, I only see her and not her PA, and the staff at the front desk are all friendly and competent. There is still a problem with getting test results in a timely fashion but no problem at all with getting in for an appointment within at most a week's time. I have noticed that Dr. Bryant can be abrupt some days in her dealing with me but on other days she is willing to spend more time with me. I think it may depend on how heavy her caseload is on any given day. I get stressed when I have to see too many clients in one day also. I also know that I have tried to bring up too many issues when I only scheduled a routine… visit. Even then, Dr. Bryant did address all my concerns though I'm sure that set her off her schedule. I've subsequently learned to ask for a longer session when I call for an appointment if I need to have her address several issues. Overall, she or her PA have been prompt with authorizing refills with my pharmacy. Generally, I am pleased with the care I get there.

First time visit with Dr Bryant, she was Condescending, I felt like I was a drug addict. She takes her time refilling medication, she don't care if you run out in the mean time. The PA I was seeing there just packed up and left without contacting his patients. I hear this has happened a few times. She has poor bedside manners. Good luck, I'm not going back.

I've got some confusing and complicated things going on and she has taken the time to help me coordinate and figure things out. Very practical and patient.

careless with follow up and/or delegation when patient goes for tests. If patient is sick and it takes many calls and aggressive follow up to get results, then doctor's services are not much help. Staff seems under motivated to solve problems as well.

I've been a patient of this practice for many years. I don't go to the dr. often but when I do I expect to be treated with compassion and concern. I also want my entire body to be seen as a whole working instrument, not pieces and parts. The PAs at this office are kind and considerate. Dr. Bryant is not. I have seen her twice in the last month and both times she got up and opened the door and walked out when she wanted to conclude our appointment, never asking if I had questions or concerns (I did) and when I followed her in the hall to continue to ask, she cut me off. Dr. Bryant doesn't make eye contact often and doesn't explain why she recommends (or doesn't recommend) a treatment. I've been wanting to make a change for a while and now it's time to go.

I will make her my new primary care doctor. A breath of fresh air!

I have never seen Dr. Bryant, the first time I needed to be seen (I was referred by a good friend), Stephanie was available (the P.A.), LOVE LOVE LOVE her, she is Very interested in what I have to say, I know she reads my file before I get there for my appt each time because she remembers what we talked about a year ago. I had to have a test a few years back that scared me a little, she called me in the evening hours at home and spoke to me on the phone for well over 10 minutes. I've never experience anyone at this office being rude, busy yes, rude no.

Several years ago I had an appointment with Dr. Patricia Bryant. In the coarse of the exam I asked her if she could prescribe Vaniqa to me as I was getting noticeable facial hair and Vaniqa reduces some of the growth. She said to me and this is an EXACT quote "you are SOOO VAIN!". I couldn't believe that ANYONE would speak to mean in that tone and with that nastiness. I left the exam room and asked if there was another Primary Care Doctor I could see. Since there wasn't I started seeing the Nurse Practitioner. I'm in the process of having my medical records transferred to another doctor. I can't believe she has any patients so is so rude.

Have seen Dr. Bryant or her assistants for several years. It took a long time to diagnose my problem requiring many extra exams and tests. I am in a black hole once I get past the tests. The office staff is rude and incompetent and they are unable to return phone calls, make referrals or follow up on anything or work with the insurance companies. I am looking for another doctor immediately.
