No words can describe this thing that is supposed to be a doctor, and to add insult to injury they have her in the emergency room ? I'll never use this hospital again.

I care by EMS to the Mt. Sinai emergency department with severe chest pain, shortness of breath and sudden arm numbness/weakness. Because of a rare connective tissue disorder I have, I was told by my geneticist that all chest pain warrants immediate evaluation for risk of arterial rupture. As soon as I entered the ED, the intake nurse did not even let me give her any medical history and current medications. This was especially distressing, as I am in intensive outpatient treatment for PTSD and am on many new medications. When Dr. Carey came to my room, she wouldn’t let me get two sentences in without a rude comment and I was unable to give her an accurate description of my history or why I was there. I luckily had an appointment with my cardiologist that afternoon and was able to communicate these changes in my recent cardiac symptoms to a competent and caring physician who shared my concern. This could have been a potentially fatal complication of my genetic condition and in the… very least, I deserved patience and cordiality in such a distressing event. I hope this physician was just having a bad or busy day and this is not her normal demeanor. If not, this is dangerous negligence and overall shameful behavior for a physician, no matter how busy the ED is.

how does something like this become a physician ? better to die in an alleyway.

This arrogant witch has the most atrocious, abusive bedside manor and should not be allowed near sick people. She is a disgrace to the medical profession and should have her license revoked and banned from practising medicine.
