I selected Dr. Carroll-Chen after reading reviews online about her extensive training in MOHS surgery and reconstructive surgery. That decision was an excellent choice because I am so pleased with every moment of my time with her. She always greets people with a smile and kinds words. She informs you of everything she needs to do and is very patient, gentle, and professional in all treatment. I had four spots of basil cancer on my face, including one on my nose for which I had prepared myself for needing reconstructive surgery. Dr. Carroll-Chen is very gentle with giving shots to numb areas and if she sees that it is uncomfortable she will stop and let the area become partially numb before continuing. That was important to me because I had read horror stories on the internet about the shots and was surprised that it was not that bad at all. Dr. Carroll-Chen knows how to make the incisions so that they heal with little or no scars. My nose area healed so well that I did not even… need the reconstructive surgery! I honestly recommend Dr. Carroll-Chen to the highest degree. Take it from me, I was really worried and scared about the process of my surgeries, but I truly did not need to be. In my opinion Dr. Patricia Carroll-Chen is the BEST!

Dr. Patricia Carroll-Chen is one of the best dermatologists I have seen and there have been several over the years. She did MOHS surgery on a place on my scalp just above my forehead. It healed exactly as she said it would, with no pain or bleeding and my hair has grown back where it was shaved and no scarring. She is amazing!! I highly recommend her to everyone.
