I would not recommend dr.devine to anyone. She made me and my family go into a very stressful time for no good reason, she lacks transparency and bedside manners. And her staff is the rrudest most inconsiderate staff i have ever encountered. I was literally crying on the exam bed when her technichan Jessica came into the room and started working on me with out even asking me if i was ok, i had to ask for a minute to calm down.Heartless! Jennifer who schedules her appointments is a liar, she kept saying that she called me 9 times when i only received one missed call and when I heard the voice mail i immediately called back 3 times to reschedule. Dr. Devine tried to make me feel guilty that my baby is not growing enough according to her.she said that if i took the aspirin she prescribed in the beginning of my pregnancy, this could have prevented it, I have never ever had one incident of high blood pressure.she treats her pat. like ignorant people who should comply without questions

I dont know what happend with the pt that had entered the above review but I feel it would be a injustice if I would not share my experience with Dr Devine. I was dealing with a high risk pregnancy stuck in the hospital for months facing a morbid delivery and Dr Devine was the only one who came by( she wasnt even attending but was scheduled to participate) and actually encouraged me telling me that she saw the testing and it appears worse than it is wheres everyone else just focused on how many transfusions and how long i'd be asleep. She was calm supportive and more accurate than my attending! She is a true gem. Thanks Dr Devine!

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. Especially expecting mothers. In 2015 I was expecting my second child at age 26. Dr. Devine informed me after an ultrasound that my unborn child was not developing at the average gestational weight/ growth, she said the baby had water in her brain, hole in her heart and would be born with Down syndrome. I was ripping apart inside as she was telling me what she saw In the ultrasound. I felt like dying, like why me Lord, why me!! As if this wasn’t enough, Dr. Devine went on to say that my child would need surgery immediately after birth for the hole in her heart and there is no guarantee she would live through the surgery and if she did she wouldn’t live to see her first birthday. Dr. Devine was very very cold and unsympathetic as she shared the results of the ultrasound. I was in tears and confusion as to why this was happening. I was not a smoker or drinker , had no one with disabilities or serious health conditions in my family or my… husbands family. I asked her what were my options she said you can either continue with the pregnancy and know that this would be results to expect or you can consider terminating the pregnancy. My mind couldn’t wrap around termination so I asked if there are any other options. Dr. Devine suggested that I have an Amniocentesis test. This test was conducted 3 dats after by Dr. Devine and 3 weeks later after calling every week to inquire if the results were in on the 3 weeks one of the nurses that worked with her at the time at Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville informed of the results and said that the chances of me having a child with Down syndrome or any other disabilities were so small it wasn’t even a number. J asked for Dr. Devine and was informed that she left and was no longer working there. To sum this horrible experience up to delivered a perfectly healthy baby girl with absolutely none of these diagnosis Dr. Devine predicted. This woman is pure EVILLL!!

She was my high risk dr in NYC. She walked off while I was going into active labor that she induced, because it was "time to go home." A dr. with far less experience was left to finish -- and I was petrified there would be a complication or I would need a c-section. It was the worst medical or personal experience of my life. Shocking behavior.

Horrible manner, did not even visit after delivering our twins. STAY AWAY.

Half an hour wait in the waiting room, plus half hour wait in the examining room. Cut me off while I asked questions, rebuked me to let her finish. I also found that simple questions are met with condescending remarks. I was given last year's flu shot and told "oops" have another this week. At 36.5 weeks told me next visit I would discuss being induced, wasn't there when I came to the next visit when I got told I would be induced because my chart said so for fear of a baby that was too large. I never saw or spoke to her again, and was induced at 37 weeks to a baby that was 6lb2oz. I found that very unprofessional. Also annoying that I couldn't book appointments in advance, and had to take whatever was offered. Since then, I've had three more children, and I am so happy that I left this office.

I cnat understand how some of these reviews are negitive. She is amazing. No she isnt looking at you when she speaks because she is looking at your little one on the ultrasound thats SHE DOES PERSONALLY!!!!! She is soft spoken and a voice of calm composure something you want when your high risk and worried. Only negitive is you may wait a little past your appointment time because she does not rush anyone. She really will answer all questions and doesnt do so with anger or judgement. She too is a mother and understands first hand how stressful pregnancy can be. I have been blessed to be able to have her as my doctor. Her staff.... Her sonogram tech who sees you first is great...she was able to give us a wonderful peditrician! Love love love them...her nurse is young and up to date on all the new ob stuff"

If you want a doctor who doesn't look at you when she speaks, doctor Devine is perfect for you. Her cold, impersonal manner is reflected in her monotone delivery and complete lack of compassion (I don't want to get into the specific issue since it is a personal matter). Simple questions are met with condescending remarks and an occasional streak of anger if you ask too many questions. While some office staff are friendly, others have serious attitude problems. Often as soon the doctor leaves, staff have nasty things to say about those same doctors. It seems like the doctors don't just treat the patients poorly but also the office staff. Just a stressful, unpleasant environment. Last place you want to be when you're pregnant.

There is a lot of demand for Dr. Devine so appointments can take a long time, but she is wonderful and caring. Generous with her time, proactive in following up with her patients and would often consult with my other doctors on complicated issues. Really just a very lovely person. Had two separate pregnancies under her care.

When I became high risk with my pregnancy at 19 weeks it was suggested to me that I see a "high risk Ob" I found Dr. Devine via word of mouth. I am forever thankful to Dr. Devine. I believe her knowledge help save my pregnancy and I was able to have a "term" healthy baby who is now 4 years old. Dr. Devine did things totally different from what my regular OB suggested and because of that I have my beautiful baby girl.
