Dr. Patricia Lynn Gerbarg, MD

I have received her therapy for 22 years. Absolutely the best of four MDs I have had over 32 years in four locations. Very knowledgeable.

She used to fall asleep (literally nod off) while we were in "session," though I suppose that's a joke since it was more appropriate to call it her nap time.She did not adhere to patient/doctor confidentiality. I heard back from another patient what I told her during a session. She also misdiagnosed me and had me on drugs I should NEVER have been on. This was years ago, quite admittedly, and I wonder if she has changed since then. Her errors were so egregious, I have never forgotten them. Now, I'll let this go.

not favorable--does not listen or respomd to patient concerns

At first I thought she was rather cold but I also was at a mental emergency and did not realize it. Began medicine and monitoring wonderful. Small increase and enjoyed her comments and took with an open heart. Was sorry she was unable treat me as a therapist but made wonderful recommendation
