Dr. Patricia Guerrero

I made an appointment 4 weeks ago to see Dr. Patricia Guerrero, Advent Health, I was a patient with her several years ago. My appointment was at 0900 arrival and see doctor at 0930. I arrived a 0900 and was called in at 0905. They took my vitals and EKG. Both nurses said the doctor would be right in. At about 0935 a nurse poked her head in and said the doctor will be here soon. 0950 another nurse poked her head in and said the doctor should be here soon. 0955 a nurse stuck her head in and said she is in the parking lot gathering her stuff she will be right in. At 1005 I walked out, the nurse said she is getting your chart now she should be with you soon. I said goodbye. If this this is how Guerrero runs her business, then I cannot trust her to do anything for me. I stayed awake all night thinking. What will the doctor find then she does not have the common courtesy to even call her own office with an arrival time. Is it because now that she belongs to one of the Orlando Giants… (Advent Health) that she no longer needs to be concerned about a patient? Are they too big to care about doing good business or is it just her being more important than her patients?

I thought I was just getting old and tired. Dr. Guerrero recognized that my symptoms were quite a bit more than just having too many birthdays...... Her very polite but direct manner explaining the seriousness of my condition, caught my attention quickly. Dr. Guerrero was able to get me admitted into the Cardiac Unit within two hours and oversaw my treatment and follow-up care for the last 4 months. I am on a path to a better and more enjoyable lifestyle now. Thank you Dr. Guerrero.
