Dr. Patricia May Hardenbergh, MD

Dr. Hardenberg was on top of my case every step of the way. If it wasnt for her, my case could have gone very wrong. She is straight forward, no nonsense and i like that. What i need is so eone who is responsible, smart. She is also very compassionate below her no nonsence bed side manner and i grew to,respect and care for her very much. She is the best! Sometimes the wait is long but that os because she takes time with each patient and looks into things with colleagues etc before moving on. If you want to be in good competent hands, Dr hardenbergh os the best

Condescending and entirely lacking in bedside manner. Upon being diagnosed with breast cancer, I collected and read numerous pamphlets on the subject. Every one of them advised me to ask lots of questions, become as informed as possible and to be my own best advocate. When my husband and I sat down with this doctor, she appeared put off by us asking questions (as if we were questioning her authority) and treated us like we were stupid. Having been educated myself at Harvard University, I found her condescending manner to be completely intolerable. The second time we came back to meet with the "team" after my lumpectomy, she refused to even see us. So much for her "team approach" that is so highly touted in the Shaw literature. She belongs in research or needs some classwork in basic people skills.

Not a nice doctor or person.
