Dr. Patricia Hobbs
Dr.
Hobbs graduated from Spaulding University Nursing School in 1977.
She was a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU), Cardiac Care Unit
(CCU) and Emergency Room (ER) nurse for six years before entering
dental school. Dr. Hobbs graduated from the University of Louisville
School of Dentistry in 1986. She was the first woman Valedictorian
in the history of the School, graduating with the highest academic
grade average in her class. She received many awards for her work at
the School of Dentistry. Dr. Hobbs has been in practice in the
Louisville area since 1986, first on the Outerloop, then moving her
practice to its present location in 2001. She has been a part-time
instructor at the dental school and is active in local dental
organizations.

Sallie
Sallie is the
office's Business Manager. She is the person behind the friendly
voice you hear answer the phone. Sallie has many years of dental
office experience (16 years working …with Dr. Hobbs) and is
responsible for all of the front office functions, including
scheduling appointments, keeping computer records of accounts, and
keeping all of the communications in the office flowing. She takes
great pride in working with patients and insurance companies to be
sure that you receive the full benefit to which you are entitled.
She will help you arrange appointments and answer your questions
about payment plans and insurance.
Valerie
Valerie is the office's primary dental assistant.  She is an
experienced dental assistant who brings her professional abilities
to the office each day.  Valerie is responsible for making sure
that all the instruments have been sterilized, setting up and
disinfecting the treatment room equipment, and assisting Dr. Hobbs
during dental procedures.  Her warm and friendly manner helps
to keep patients completely relaxed during their dental treatment.
Luwana
Luwana is the office' s
Dental Hygienist. She graduated from the University of Louisville
School of Dentistry Dental Hygiene Program in 1975. She has
practiced Dental Hygiene since that time in the Louisville area,
working with Dr. Hobbs for 17 of those years. Luwana' s dedication
to her profession is apparent whenever she completes a dental
procedure for you. Her warm personality and eye for detail make her
one of the area' s most sought after hygienists.
Betty
Betty is the
office' s back-up Dental Assistant. Since her recent retirement, Betty
continues to work part-time in the office.  She uses her years
of experience to lend a helping hand to all aspects of patient care
and office operations.  Betty has a friendly smile and helps
put children and adults at ease during their visits.  She has
been with the practice for many years and is well known to all of
the patients.
