From rude receptionist and difficulty reaching office - I was told it was required by law that a medication I have taken for years would REQUIRE ANNUAL DRUG TESTING PER THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. THIS IS NOT TRUE. "All patients on long-term opioid therapy should have periodic urine drug tests (UDT). Medical experts agree that an annual UDT for all patients should be standard practic. Subsequent UDTs should be determined on an individual patient basis, at the discretion of the clinician." It is discretionary!!! ALSO NOT COVERED BY MY HEALTH INSURANCE.

Don't let the low reviews fool you Dr James is one of the best Drs I have ever seen so caring and dedicated to your health, yes the staff and office are terrible when it comes to customer service but if you want quality healthcare sometimes you need to put that aside, we are adults we can wait a little longer on the phone in the lobby or room to get the care we deserve.

no return phone calls. no backup in office

Home from a recent emergency hospital stay and how comforting to have Dr. James by my side. She was there for me every morning, monitoring and directing my care. Most Dr’s barely have time for you in their office, much less come to the hospital, but Dr. James scores 5 stars on both points!

Office staff is terrible , Nurse Lillan takes for ever to order prescriptions and return phone calls. The wait time is about an hour to see the Doctor. I have discussed problems with the Office Manager Michele Espejo, to no avail. I would suggest you find another doctor.

the staff in the front office is very rude . the doctor needs to replace the ones that make the appointments. the doctor spends a lot of time with you and is very goog

They take a long time to return calls. I called and left two messages regarding my lab results it took two days to receive a call after lab work was put on my health! The lady at the front desk is really terrible and get you mixed up with other patients!

Prescriptions not filled in timely manner. Had to request refill 3 times...still waiting

Dr. James is excellent, spends lots of time with me each time. However, her staff's follow through is lacking.
