Dr. Patricia Ann Kirby, MD

I wrote one review about a year ago praising Dr. Kirby and unfortunately have to write another one doing the opposite. I was a patient for years and was still getting my prescription filled through Dr. Kirby. That is until recently. My pharmacy let me know I didn't have anymore refills on my prescription so they were going to send an authorization to Dr. Kirby to get more refills for me. After a few days, the pharmacy hadn't heard back about it. I called Dr. Kirby's office on more than 10 occasions, leaving 4 voicemails, asking why it hadn't been filled and if I needed to get back up to see her. Never received any communication back and the office seems to not answer the phone anymore. Finally had to find another psychiatrist to get my meds filled, which luckily I'll be seeing this week, but was without my medication for over a week. Very unprofessional, didn't even call me back to let me know that they weren't going to fill my prescription or the reason why. Scary to go for over a… week without your prescription you've been on for years and realize that the one person you thought you could depend on to care for you has decided not to and without explanation. Sad to say goodbye but clearly my overall mental and physical health were not Dr. Kirby's focus anymore.

I was very pleased with my first office visit to Dr Kirby. She was highly recommended by my previous dr who moved away.
