She was rude to myself and my son. My kid is in extreme pain and she was talking to us like we are there wasting her time. She refused an MRI and said he just pulled a muscle. My son explained he can barely walk and she told him to go to school and walk on it. He’s falling down when he tries to walk and she was acting like he was faking. What a disappointing appointment. I will be filing an official grievance.

I have never experienced a doctor behaving in this manner. She yelled at my toddler, was rude to both myself and my husband, cut us off, questioned our parenting for having our child in multiple activities and ignored our concerns. She also wrote inaccurate information in her notes. She was cold and abrupt and has no business ever seeing another child.

She THREW a paper towel at him and told him to ball it up and squeeze it. Did not answer any questions. Left the room without saying goodbye or acknowledging the visit was over.

I have to agree with other reviewers that Dr. McKeever is horrible in her interactions with children. I brought my 14 year old in with a diagnosed a fracture. The Dr. came in the room, did not introduce herself or say hello. She immediately began irritatingly asking my daughter questions and then challenged every answer she gave her. My daughter became intimidated, which seemed to anger the Dr. even more. She then said she "couldn't read her" and quit speaking to her. She was visibly aggravated at some equipment not working and walked out of the room while I was speaking, twice! Eventually, she recommended physical therapy, but did not realize my daughter's pain level was a 9 out of 10 because she never asked. When I pointed it out, she changed the plan. When I asked more questions based on information we had received in Urgent Care, she changed it a third time. In then end, we left with a cast, feeling very uncertain about whether we had taken the correct course of action and… unsure of what we should give for pain. I have never been treated this way by a Dr. and do not intend to again. We will not be going back to her for the follow up X-ray and cast removal.

Dr. McKeever has cared for our daughter for over 20 years (our daughter is now an adult and is seen by Dr. McKeever when needed) and we've found McKeever's care top-notch. We appreciate McKeever's non-surgical approach and willingness to try less invasive therapies. Overall, I would recommend McKeever due to her professional and caring approach to medicine.

Dr. McKeever is AMAZING!!! She may start out at what seems to be gruff but really she is trying to figure out how to help your child and give the best care possible. She is brilliant. Our son was born with major orthopedic issues and Dr. McKeever has bent over backwards to make sure that he is taken care of properly. There is no one else that I would take our children too. We LOVE her and her staff!!!

This was our first time visiting SCOI after our wonderful Dr. passed away. We were hoping for the same wonderful demeanor as Dr. Bernstein. Dr. McKeever was not warm and fuzzy. My daughter was terrified and the Dr. lacked a good bedside manner with her. She did get nicer as we kept talking to her, but too little too late. We will finish our care with her but will look elsewhere in the future if needed.
