Dr. Merriman has been an instrumental part of my pain treatment by teaching me how to handle the psychological and emotional aspects of chronic physical pain. Her kind demeanor, professionalism and extensive experience has helped me through the years.

From day one she put me at ease. My experience with another doctor was a waste of time. I am more than comfortable with her. It’s wonderful to have the ability to talk without being judged. The work we have done together has been wonderful. I understand myself so much better. She has helped me with my anxiety by finding various ways to work through it. If someone is attempting to discover where a good physician for your mind check out one of my favorite doctors-Dr.Patricia Merriman.

I was scheduled to see Dr Patricia Merriman as part of the evaluation pre trial for the DRG-SCS "DRG Spinal Cord Stimulator" I was unhappy about this, as past experiences with "Shrinks" typically left a bad taste in my mouth HOWEVER! I TRULY adore this woman Never have I felt so at ease with a Psychologist, or any of the 30+ medical professionals I've seen in regards to my 5 years of chronic pain. She is easy to talk with and is 100% non judgmental. After years of chronic pain, it was wonderful to speak with someone who has true compassion for their patients My session with her had the vibe of chatting with a close friend She is really really great Even if your past experiences with Psychologist have not ended on a positive note, Dr Patricia Merriman is worth taking a session with I am the type of person who hates everyone BUT Dr Merriman is fantastic I wish she could be my full time Psychologist Warm Regards ESC

Dr. Merriman is a wonderful listener and advisor. She made me feel comfortable from day one. The more time you spend with her, the more you become friends. This helps me to tell her anything. Pain causes you to feel anxiety and depression. She is a big help with this also. And most of all, she does not rush you out the door and usually goes pass the time allowed.
