Dr. Patricia A Nahormek, MD

Dr. Nahornek has been my cardiologist for 20 years. I met her initially when I went into the hospital after having twins and she picked me up as a new patient. Her bedside manner was excellent and she was very concerned about me. She diagnosed my case and she took care of me for this length of time. I have nothing but high praises for Dr. Nahormek. She always explained procedures, tests and the results to mke and answered all of my questions to satisfaction. I was informed that she will be retiring and am tryly going to miss her. I wish her all the best!

Quick to diagnose with something without a thorough evaluation. Told I didn't have something I was diagnosed with 11 years ago and still receiving successful ongoing treatment for. Refused to refer to specialist for underlying conditions. Ordered a 2 week heart monitor for no reason and office didn't train me how to use it correctly. Proceeded to mosey herself into my medical records and coach me on how I needed to have a better relationship with my other doctors because I had a bad experience with someone she supposedly knew personally. My patient-doctor relationship with other providers is none of her business. Overall, she needs her medical license taken away. I told them about my previously diagnosed condition and she proceeded to retest me for it INCORRECTLY if I might add, because she didn't wait the proper time period before checking my blood pressure again. When I said something about it, she essentially told me to shut up (nicely of course) and didn't take my knowledge of my… condition and previous tests into account. Refused to transfer previous records from the last state l lived in because she said the results were "insufficient." Cancelled heart monitor early because office kept harassing me about it saying I wasn't wearing it when I was. Tried to cancel appointment. Doc rescheduled. Cancelled. Doc rescheduled without my knowledge. Get a call a few weeks later saying that they are charging me for an appointment I was never made aware of and supposedly skipped. Threatened an attorney if they didn't leave me alone and quit making appointments without my consent. Quickly received a discharge letter in the mail. Yet, weeks later, received another notice that I had skipped an appointment. Chewed the receptionist out on the phone.
